Every year we install a new HVAC system for a local charity, free of charge. This year we installed a new @mitsubishihvac heat pump system for a food pantry who recently had their outdoor unit stolen. Special thanks to @rectorseal for donating their sturdy AC Guard Security Cage to keep this new system in place.
We are happy to support @redbudbooks, Bloomington’s new independent bookstore and community space. Check out their silent auction fundraiser and bid on a furnace/AC tune-up from yours truly!
After, and before.
We installed this new @americanstandard_hvac high efficiency heat pump for a customer who previously had a propane furnace but wanted to ditch gas and electrify their home. We were able to install the system completely free of charge thanks to Monroe County’s ARPA Rural Repair Program.
We were eager sponsors of the 2nd Indiana Pawpaw Festival this weekend in Merom. Thanks to Isaac Busby for organizing the great festival and for everyone who came by to support the local vendors and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Just installed @americanstandard_hvac Silver Heat Pump for a customer in Bloomington. When paired with the right indoor unit, this affordable heat pump system qualifies for the new $2000 federal tax credit.
With financial assistance from Monroe County’s ARPA Rural Repair Program, we were able to replace this customer’s broken AC system with an @americanstandard_hvac heat pump for free. Inside the home we also replaced their outdated furnace with a new, high efficiency 95% AFUE furnace. This combination of a gas furnace and electric heat pump is known as “dual fuel,” and offers to best of both worlds. During mild weather, the electric heat pump will handle all the heating for the home. Most heat pumps will need “backup heat strips” to kick on when it gets below 30-40 degrees outside, which can produce very high electric bills in the coldest months. With this duel fuel arrangement, however, the furnace will kick on instead, to supplement the heat pump. This means cheaper utility bills all year round.
We installed this large 24000 BTU @mitsubishihbac mini split in an small artist cabin in Solsberry today. Previously the cabin had only been heated by a very old (and possibly dangerous) wall-mounted propane heater. Because this new system is considered a high-efficiency heat pump, the customer will be able to get 30% back of the installation price from the new 25C federal tax credit AND a $500 rebate from the electrical co-op. #ElectrifyEverything
